If you have made changes to a form, fields or dropdowns and are not seeing the updates on the device, the device needs to refresh its settings. Most devices are typically set to do this every 4 hours automatically, but to force an instant refresh, there are several ways to accomplish this:
- Perform a “Setup and Done” by going into the “setup” screen and then selecting “done” at the account number and user number.
- Exit the mComet App and re-launch it
- Power cycle the device by turning it off or pulling the battery out and then turning the device back on.
Any one of these steps forces the software to download the most current settings to the handset, including the new forms.
